Not everyone has the powerful outgoing personality essential for MLM recruiting among their friends and family. These are folks who by and large won’t be interested in your business – or any home business. You may have heard the high-powered MLM recruiting trainers urging you to get out there “face to face” and talk to everyone you come within three feet of about your MLM business. Although this isn’t bad advice necessarily, the trainers who teach and preach this approach have likely been blessed with an abundance of self-assurance and a powerful personality to match.

Not everyone is like that. There are different ways to contact this warm market that anyone can do, even somebody who is shy and not a natural perfect fit for MLM recruiting. Here is one thing you can do. Make that list of 100-200 people that you know or count as your “warm market”. Get their mailing addresses or email addresses. Write a short letter along with your company or upline’s best “informational literature” and mail it out. Just tell them about your involvement with your home based business and the reasons you’re excited about it, and invite them to call you if it looks interesting. This sole action by itself can help you get your MLM recruiting off to a superb start.
